Midwifery Services - Coming June 15th

OGA is expanding our women’s care. Schedule your appointment with Paige Knickrehm today.

OGA physicians will not be on OB call March 6–7 (until noon). For urgent concerns or labor, please go directly to St. Luke’s Meridian. Call 208-888-0909 with questions.

Jessica McQueary, NP-C, RNFA, is passionate about helping women feel informed, supported, and confident throughout every step of their healthcare journey. As a Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse First Assistant, she works closely with OGA’s physicians both in the operating room and in the clinic, providing preoperative and postoperative care, surgical first assisting, and patient education.

Jessica brings more than a decade of experience in women’s health, with much of her career dedicated to gynecologic oncology. Before joining OGA Women’s Health, she cared for women facing complex gynecologic cancers, assisting in advanced surgeries, managing inpatient and outpatient care, and guiding patients through treatment and recovery. That experience shaped her passion for helping women earlier in their healthcare journey through prevention, education, and compassionate surgical care.

Jessica believes one of the most important parts of healthcare is helping patients understand what’s happening and what to expect. She takes the time to answer questions, explain procedures in clear, understandable language, and ensure every patient feels heard and comfortable with their care.

Her goal is for each person to leave an appointment feeling less anxious, confident in their treatment plan, and knowing they have a trusted team supporting them.  Her favorite part of women’s healthcare is helping women navigate important moments in their lives with compassion and understanding. Whether preparing for surgery, recovering afterward, or addressing a new concern, Jessica approaches every patient the way she would want her own family members to be cared for, treating each person with kindness, respect, and empathy.

Jessica was excited to join OGA because of its reputation for excellence and its truly collaborative approach to patient care. She values working alongside a team where physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and support staff all work together to provide a seamless experience for every patient.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boise State University. Jessica is also a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), a DaVinci Robotic Certified First Assist, and an instructor for the National Institute of First Assisting, where she teaches surgical first assisting techniques to nurse practitioners and registered nurses across the country.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys fishing, traveling, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her family. She also loves knitting and crocheting, creating everything from cozy blankets to whimsical handmade animals.
