Molly Oaten, MSN, WHNP-BC, is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with more than six years of experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and fertility care.

She provides comprehensive women’s healthcare, including gynecologic and preventive care, prenatal and postpartum care, contraception counseling, preconception planning, and fertility and infertility care. Molly began her career as a nurse practitioner in general OB/GYN before discovering a particular interest in infertility. She spent the next four years specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, helping patients navigate everything from early fertility concerns to advanced fertility treatments. Now, she brings that specialized experience back to general women’s healthcare, allowing her to support patients from their earliest questions about growing a family through pregnancy, postpartum care, and beyond.

Molly believes the best healthcare starts with listening. She knows visiting a women’s healthcare provider can feel intimidating, so she takes the time to get to know each patient as a person before focusing on their medical concerns. Her collaborative approach encourages patients to ask questions, understand their options, and feel empowered to make decisions that align with their goals and preferences.

Education is one of Molly’s greatest passions. Whether someone is preparing for pregnancy, navigating infertility, managing a gynecologic concern, or simply looking for routine preventive care, she strives to ensure every patient leaves with a better understanding of their health and the confidence to make informed decisions moving forward.

Molly was drawn to OGA Women’s health because of its collaborative, team based approach to women’s healthcare. She values working alongside providers who share a common philosophy of patient centered care, allowing every patient to benefit from the knowledge and experience of an entire team dedicated to their well being.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Emory University and also holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from East Carolina University.

Outside of the office, Molly loves exploring Idaho’s outdoors. You’ll often find her hiking, biking, running, or taking road trips to discover new trails. She also enjoys photography, reading mystery novels, baking, and trying new taco spots.
